Data Security

A high-level overview of the safeguards we use to protect information, plus steps you can take to keep your account secure and how to report security concerns.

Last updated: 1 April 2026

We take security seriously and use a layered approach designed to reduce risk across the Services. This page describes our general practices (it is not a guarantee of security).

1. Security program overview

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Safeguards may vary based on the sensitivity of the data and the feature being used.

2. Access controls

  • Least privilege: access is restricted to what is needed to operate and support the Services.
  • Authentication: we use account controls designed to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Operational monitoring: we monitor for abnormal activity and reliability issues.

3. Data protection

  • Secure transmission: we use secure transport where appropriate to protect data in transit.
  • Storage protections: we apply safeguards designed to protect data at rest and restrict access.
  • Backups and recovery: we use processes intended to support service continuity and recovery.

4. Account security (what you can do)

  • Protect credentials: do not share passwords or access tokens with anyone.
  • Use secure devices: keep your operating system and the app updated.
  • Be cautious with links: avoid phishing messages asking for passwords or codes.
  • Log out on shared devices: do not remain signed in on devices you do not control.

5. Data minimization

We aim to collect and process only the information needed to provide and improve the Services, and we apply access controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

6. Reporting security issues

If you believe your account has been compromised, or you think you have discovered a security vulnerability, notify us at support@citelifestyle.com.

  • Include: what happened, when it happened, affected account email (if applicable), device/OS, and steps to reproduce.
  • Do not include: passwords, one-time codes, or payment card numbers.

7. No guarantee

While we take security seriously, no service can guarantee absolute security. You use the Services at your own risk.
